His name is a vibration of color, 2022
I created this doll from a dream I had in January of 2022. I dreamed this creature was sending messages to me through vibrational color patterns and symbols. I was having a hard time understanding and felt frustrated. How to translate things that are not translatable, yet felt deeply. acrylic yarn, polyfil stuffing, popcorn, felt.
Argggg, complete with peg leg.
Scrappy Flergle, 2019
Scrappy flergle is made from scrap yarns left over from past projects which means.....more magic!
They are mischievous, don't let their cuteness fool you.
Bubblegum was made out of a cake of yarn I bought at my favorite art supply store, Starlandia. Bubblegum has his own Starlandia shopping bag.
This commissioned doll was a joy to make. The sunflower doll comes out of their pot to reveal legs and feet.
This doll went on a trip with me to the Bahamas and was adopted by a new friend I made there named Sonya.
Starman always saves the day.
